Key Responsibilities
- Support the Document Control Manager in executing departmental responsibilities
- Maintain accurate / live document status records via electronic document management systems on a project-by-project basis for internal documents and external client and sub-supplier documents.
- Create and update project specific documents (e.g. Supplier Document Registers, Compile Manufacturing Data Books)
- Review for accuracy and update project documents where able / assigned, or distribute for appropriate action
- Manage the flow of documentation within the organization and externally with clients and sub-suppliers
- Liaise with appropriate personnel; externally and internally to ensure on time document flow.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on project documentation as needed
- Create, copy, scan and store documents electronically or physically as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of department
- Proven work experience as a Document Controller or in a Technical Administrative Role.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 accredited environment
- Demonstrable experience of and confidence in using MS Office Suite of programmes
- Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) or other electronic database management systems
- Proficient typing and editing skills
- Data organization skills
