This is an exciting time to join our EandB Systems team. We are looking for a Systems Support Officer to help deliver expert IT and operational support, guidance, training, and tools to improve operational efficiency. You’ll play a key role in delivering a National-Once service supporting our core business tools.
In this role, you will provide a first-class service to ensure customer queries and support requests are dealt with promptly. Typical tasks include:
- Amending data
- Granting system access
- Resetting passwords
- Providing information on request
You will coordinate and organise information across a range of tasks, stepping in where needed to keep the team moving forward. A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for supporting others will be essential.
You’ll manage your workload independently while working closely with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of customer service.

The EandB Systems team is part of the Chief Regulator’s Group for Future Regulation. We are a dispersed team, supporting over 30 systems and more than 3,000 users across the Environment Agency.
We provide first-line support, lead on system testing, and manage infrastructure updates. We also work closely with CIS and third-party suppliers to ensure our systems remain reliable, effective, and fit for purpose.Experience/skills required

This role is office-based at our office in Warrington (Richard Fairclough House). There may be infrequent travel to National Meetings.
