**Business Studies Teacher** **September Start**

Prospero Teaching are working with a popular mixed secondary school located in Lutonwho are interested in securing a **Business Studies teacher**to join the team September.The ideal **Business Studies teacher**will be qualified, have a degree related to a **Business Studies** and be a passionate educator.

The ideal **Business Studies teacher**will be joining a large, well-resourced, solid**Business Studies** department and be required to deliver lessons to GCSE and up to A-level.

The school are ideally seeking a teacher who can teach A-levels business and confident with year 12 & 13 Economics.

**ABOUT THE SCHOOL**:
Prospero Teaching are working with an Ofsted rated Good, mixed, Catholic secondary school located in Luton. The role is full-time, 8.10am - 3pm Monday - Friday.

This mixed, secondary school is steeped in history, students and staff benefit from state-of-the-art facilities and being located in Luton is really accessible. There is an onsite car park and parking available on nearby roads. A number of buses and trainsserve the school.

**GENERAL INFORAMTION ABOUT THE MATHS TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE**:

Contract Type: contract via agency

Full time/ Part time: full time

Minimum rate of pay: in line with main pay scale

Hours: 8am - 3:30pm Full day

**THE RIGHT BUSINESS STUDIES TEACHER WILL BE**:
*Hold a BA and PGCE in Business Studies
*Confident with teaching GCSE and A-Levels
*Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box

**THE SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS STUDIES TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING**:
Exceptional Business Students related degree and GCSEs
Eligibility to work in the UK
Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
Salary paid to scale - **teachers' pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience**
