Core banking platform at Treasury and Trade Solution (TTS) group is being modernised to accommodate the disruptive industry changes in payments, ledgers and liquidity technology. We expect aggressive demand of Virtual Accounts over the coming years. This isan exciting area of core banking to be in. next generation roadmap for Virtual Accounts & choice of technology stack. Roadmap creation will involve buy vs build and quantification of cost and benefits. Responsibilities: - Define the end to end Virtual Accounts functionality & technology flow. - Pragmatic decision making to drive transition from current to target state - Work in close collaboration with stakeholders in product teams, operations & define target state Virtual Account platform - Collaborate with other Technology teams & Enterprise Architecture group align technology solution to the standards and best practices - Be a partner to the business stakeholders and understand underlying benefits delivered and drivers for the requirements to be delivered by technology teams - Lead workshops to capture functionality for current and future capability - Champion Agile practices e.g. definition of user stories, backlog, acceptance criteria - Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary - Assist Technology teams with Implementation of functionality Qualifications: - Proven & Relevant experience as a Solution / Functional Architect - Extensive experience in End-End solution definition of high performant technology platforms using modern engineering practices like microservices, event based architecture, real time streaming etc. - Actively contribute to technical discussions, proactively identify challenges and risks, evangelize architectural best practices in stability, resiliency, fault tolerance, scalability, and performance - Work closely with Application teams, peer architects and other teams in the organization to drive solutions architecture design - Knowledge of REST API's, Open APIs design and implementation. Messaging protocols, RDBMS, NoSQL, Streaming technologies. Such as Kafka and Pulsar - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Go; Microservice frameworks such as Spring Boot or gRPC; experience building on AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud native technologies; familiar with DevOps. - Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets. - Experience with ETL tools - Talend, Ab Initio, Spark - Experience of both greenfield and brownfield legacy platform modernization - Experience managing global technology teams - Functional knowledge of Core accounts and industry trends will be a big advantage, knowledge of Virtual Accounts will be desirable - In depth understanding of corporate banking products and the product life cycle, especially within core-banking, treasury, liquidities, payments and receivables - Should have excellent inter-personal skills to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders - Clear and concise written and verbal communication Education: - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Master's degree preferred -------------------------------------------- - **Job Family Group**: Technology ------------------------------------------------ - **Job Family**: Applications Development ----------------------------------------------------- - **Time Type**: Full time ----------------------------------------------------- - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
