Fenner Precision Polymers Lincoln is a Michelin group company and a manufacturer of Air & fluid handling products, Industrial motion & High-tech coated fabrics. Supporting the maintenance & facilities manager you will be working to deliver an effective maintenance service. Responsible for the day-to day activities of the maintenance team of electrical and mechanical engineers, you will be scheduling work and supervising the maintenance team activities to deliver KPI targets: MTBF and MTTR.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Direction of day-to-day priorities for team members
- Management of contractors for repairs & service work
- Coach and develop direct reports
- Manage and report team performance
- Support development of Spares, critical & consumable store
- Problem resolution, take a leading role in coordinating efforts to resolve problems.
- First point of contact for manufacturing leaders providing updates on job status and scheduling maintenance interventions.
- Delivery of KPI targets
- Monitor and inspect work
**Qualification and Experience Essential**
- Proven experience in a managerial, leadership or supervisory role.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical mind with good problem-solving skills
- Organisational skills for scheduling maintenance tasks and ensuring job completion.
- Strong understanding of safety standards.
- Competent with MS Office
- Additional Skills: Leadership and teamwork, Data analysis, management reporting.
- Experience in engineering/industrial maintenance an advantage
**Desirable skills/experience**
Experience working on steam systems.
Electrical background advantageous
Safety qualifications ISOH/NEBOSH/First Aid
**Working Hours**
Mon to Thu 0730-1600 / Fri 0730-1300
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
