**Our role**

The role of Media Planner/Buyer will see you sit in the Amp, our Analytics, Media and Performance team. You will work in Media activation and investment team to plan and buy the media space for the global media campaigns for our clients. You will use your expertise to secure the best placement and price for our client’s media campaigns.

We are looking for media planning and buying specialist with experience of digital and publishing. Someone who is passionate about the opportunities that come from data and technology, and eager to find insights to inform and back up their planning recommendations and proactively seek out learning opportunities to further develop their thinking.

**Role responsibilities**
- For this position, you will take high and wide level of responsibility in the planning and buying delivery of HCP/Endemic campaigns across our Client(s)
- You will be trusted to produce accurate work and prioritise tasks
- You will have excellent relations with the wider team and Havas network, working together on response to briefs, covering areas of cross over to avoid duplication and maximise opportunities
- You will work with the client account team to ensure plans have clear KPIs and briefs that include all the required information
- Your plans will consider new products, account for growing trends and structured to deliver the campaign objectives
- You will negotiate the best price, quality, and placement of advertisements on behalf of our clients for their media campaigns
- You will keep up to date with fluctuations in popularity ratings and developments in the industry to ensure we are ahead of our competition
- You will maintain good relationships with the market to ensure that Havas Lynx is a priority trading partner.
- You will be expected to be abreast of latest industry developments and opportunities
- You will be able to secure the most innovative solutions from our partners
- You will manage media bookings ensuring they’re on budget and achieve ROI
- You will track, measure, and report on the campaign performance, analyse performance data, and develop action plans to course
- You will continually monitor and amend the campaigns as necessary based on performance and work with your team to communicate pre-and mid campaign updates that manage expectations so there are no surprises later from the client’s perspective
- You will produce campaign reports that sell our work and demonstrate our expertise and knowledge
