**About the role**:
As the **Human Resources Manager**, you will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and oversight of high-quality HR standards throughout the UK.

You’ll be inheriting an established stand-alone HR function and joining a focused, supportive, and collaborative UK leadership team.

**Responsibilities of our Human Resources Manager include**:

- Facilitating high quality, rapid recruitment, induction and engagement of our employees
- Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on good HR practice and employment matters
- Ensuring responsive and effective transactional HR services
- Initiating and leading HR projects
- Using innovative approaches to improve and introduce processes and practice
- Supplying payroll with relevant information and administering employee benefits
- Optimising use of the HR systems
- Presenting, training and/or facilitating training & development programs.
- Supporting the use of performance management tools

**Qualities we’re looking for in our Human Resources Manager**:

- A broad generalist HR expertise & outstanding communicator
- Commercially driven & solution orientated with a pragmatic approach to HR
- Experience across the full spectrum of HR activity, including recruitment, selection, employee relations, good employment practice, performance management, compensation & benefits, training & development
- A passion for working thoroughly at high pace to achieve challenging objectives & meet rapidly changing demands
- A track record of being innovative, proactive and improving systems & processes
- Ability to inspire, mentor and develop colleagues
- Passionate about the power of the HR function to support the business
- Confident in the use of technology & systems
