**The Company**

Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a Senior Support Workers in Cumbria, on behalf of a great care provider who operate homes all across the Lake District. Providing first class residential and health care to vulnerable children, this is a company forpeople who want to make a difference.

**The Role**

The client is currently looking for Senior Support workers to add to their already established and well experienced team.

You will be reporting to the Assistant Manager, but will be the lead practitioner on shift.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

- Mentoring and supporting new Support Workers
- Lead by example by providing the highest level of residential, emotional and health care.
- Work collaboratively with the therapy and outdoor team, as well as colleagues from wider sectors.
- Maintain and organised and efficient environment to help provide and track the children’s wellbeing and needs.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s workforce (or equivalent)
- Ideally you will have experience in the Residential children’s service sector.
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
