**Job Overview**

**Main Responsibilities**

This is not an exhaustive list of duties however these do form the main responsibilities of the position we are offering:

- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as required.
- Picking and packing orders, preparing them for despatch.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Manage materials within the yard, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading lorries.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Periodic cleaning of the paving displays with a jet wash and brush.
- Collaborate with team members to build and prepare materials for various projects.
- Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and materials handling.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in heavy lifting and physical labour.
- Proficiency and qualification in operating a forklift.
- Strong knowledge of materials handling processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting, demonstrating teamwork and reliability.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently within the yard environment.

The position is currently available for the months June-September, perfect for those needing summer work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: £13.17-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
