**Human Resources - Graduate Programme**
**Locations**: Edinburgh
**About you**:
- To be eligible for our Human Resources programme, you’ll need to have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
- We’re looking for people who are passionate about understanding and supporting others; people with a talent for building great relationships built on understanding, empathy, and trust
- You’ll demonstrate great communication skills, a strong collaborative ethos and excellent organisational skills.
**About the programme**:
As a graduate trainee in Human Resources we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you’ll need to become a leading HR professional. You’ll be immersed in HR within a large organisation, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of areas, from colleague wellbeing and talent management, to policy development and leadership support.
You’ll not only be learning, but bringing a fresh perspective to the table, helping us shape the strategy that underpins how we work together and support each other.
We’ll reward you with a starting salary of £33,500. And on top of your salary, you’ll also have access to our flexible benefits package.
This is a two-year programme, where you can look forward to:
- Working with HR Partners and industry experts in fields like Reward & Employment, Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Networking and learning opportunities with senior leaders across a range of business areas and expertise
- Gaining knowledge in change and transformation projects from a people perspective
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, and the influencing skills to raise ideas and challenge the status quo
- Gaining an industry recognised professional qualification - CIPD Level 5, building your capability through core learning, helping you prepare for a successful career.
To give you an idea on where this programme can take you, previous graduates have gone on to secure jobs as HR Consultants, Talent Acquisition Consultants or Reward Consultants to name a few.
**About the business area**:
Human Resources sits firmly at the heart of the organisation, to make the bank a great place to work - a place where everyone is treated fairly and able to fulfil their potential. This comes down to understanding our people, and how we work best together. We’re all about working and thinking as one team to deliver on our promises, enable effectiveness, look after the wellbeing of our people and nurture a fair and inclusive bank to sustain our purpose for the long term.
We shape and deliver strategies for the business in areas like recruitment, learning, reward, and inclusion to make sure we have the people, skills and perspectives we need to deliver for our customers.
