**Role outline**:
You will work within the Transport Focus Communications team, working closely with team members to ensure consistency in communications across the organisation. With strong digital design and copywriting skills, along with great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, you will lead the Transport Focus publishing process. This involves turning our world class research and insight into compelling digital and print material to communicate with various audiences. You will also provide our regional engagement teams with content to support their ongoing stakeholder activity and support our Digital Officer with content for our online channels. You will be our brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and quality across our entire suite of communication materials.

Whilst not required, it would be useful if you have a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities surrounding the transport industry, and its impact on users, or have worked within a public sector environment.

There are currently offices in London and Manchester. There is an expectation to work out of one of the offices, but there are opportunities for flexible working.

**What you will do**:

- Creation and management of a set of key publications templates (modal and corporate)
- Ongoing delivery of design and layout of publications and other corporate documents within templates
- Management of design agency contracts and outsourcing as required, ensuring best value for money and best outcome for taxpayer
- Creation and management of resource library which can be used by stakeholders, the media and team members (infographics, key assets, images etc)
- Management of our new digital publication platform
- Brand management - Style guide development and delivery
- Working with digital manager to create and manage engaging visual content
- Creation and implementation of a design sign off process for publications
- Upskilling of broader comms team in use of templates, creation of assets etc.
