**We are looking for a Patient Administrator to join our friendly Reception team here at Spire Norwich. This role will suit someone who would like a challenging and busy role with plenty of variety.**
**This is a full-time and permanent position, with working hours operating on a shift pattern for the department. Working hours will be 37.5 hours covering 5 shifts per week between the hours of 6am - 8pm Monday to Saturday, and 6am - 8pm on Sundays. Flexibility will be required to work alternate Saturdays and alternate Sundays.**
Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. Our facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, and deliver a range of outpatient services through our busy and dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments providing a progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Welcoming, registering and directing patients, consultants and hospital teams as required, to the hospital
- Processing in-patient/out-patient charges, including the accurate collection of credit card details
- Booking follow up appointments
- Taking payments for patient invoices
- Managing the hospital switchboard
- Undertaking various clerical duties
- Maintaining confidentiality of all information
**Who we're looking for**
Essential
- Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to tight deadlines
- Experience in a similar environment would be beneficial but by no means necessary as full training will be provided
- An excellent communicator
- Experienced in using an in house computer software package
- A team player confident in interacting across a diverse range of people
