Guinness Care are recruiting for Community Care Assistants to join our special team. This is a highly rewarding role where you can really make a difference. We support people in our local communities to continue living where they want to be in their ownhomes.

What the job involves:
As a Community Care Assistant with us, you will be helping our customers with a variety of tasks from personal care (showering/dressing/toileting), meal preparation, household chores, attending appointments, shopping, through to assisting with medication.Whilst you are assisting with these tasks, our customers will enjoy having someone to talk to for that all important companionship.

- £9.70 per hour, or £10.28 per hour if you have an NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 in Health & Social Care. _If you don’t already have the qualification, we will support you to achieve it_

- We offer paid mileage for our community-based roles; this is usually paid at 30p per mile, however this is continuously reviewed and we are currently paying 45p per mile
- Stability - Permanent, contracted hours ranging from 16 to 30 with extra hours available (casual hours roles also available)

What you need to work as a Home Care Assistant with Guinness:

- Have a driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- To be comfortable supporting customers with personal care including bathing, toileting and with their personal hygiene needs
- To be available to work shifts between 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm, including alternate weekends
