**Job description**

As a Care Worker with Cynefin Care you will provide care and support for people in their own homes. Our aim is to enable people to maintain their life in the way they want to even as their need for support increases either through age or illness. In a recent Contract Monitoring report comments from our clients and their families included, _**'the care staff are like a breath of fresh air'**_ and another commented that they _**'didn’t know what they would do without them'.**_

You will work as part of a **small team delivering care and support to a number of people in a local area**. You do not need to have formal qualifications but if you have good interpersonal skills, a caring nature, practical skills and common sense then you are already well qualified to succeed in this role. We provide full training before you go out to work and initially you will work with an experienced member of the team to help you find your feet.

We offer flexible working patterns which we will agree with you before you start and wherever possible we offer fully paid shifts so you are paid from first to last call regardless of the number of calls on your shift.

For experienced Care Workers with a Social Care Wales Registration we offer a **higher rate of pay** and ongoing support to assist you to maintain your SCW registration.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 0-40 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£10.70 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
We have strict COVID-19 measures in place. All Care Workers are provided with supplies of PPE which includes face masks, aprons, gloves and visors. We have protocols in place for working with service users and their families to minimise risk.
