Community Care Support Worker

Overview
Successful applicants will undergo extensive training before and whilst working with our clients. We offer a premium service and as such staff who are employed in this service are expected to work across all shifts of Mornings, Evenings and Weekends in a Two Week Rotation. The position can be full time or part time but applicants will still be expected to work across all shifts. Pay is a basic rate of £12.00 p/hr which can be topped up to £15.00 p/hr for those who fulfil certain criteria. Mileage is paid in addition. Applicants will be expected to have excellent communication skills, be well presented, be professional and have the knowledge and skills to complete all tasks, going above and beyond when needed. As a Community Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through dedicated care and assistance. The type of service we provide is reflected in the pay offered. We do not provide sponsorship to applicants. All applicants must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
Duties
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes
- Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal grooming, and medication administration
- Implement management strategies as required
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic care& client well being.
- Maintain accurate records of all care and tasks provided
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caring role is expected.
- Knowledge of nursing, senior care, or related fields is advantageous
- Health & Social Care qualifications is preferred
- Ability to work effectively and responsibly in clients homes
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards others
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities
