**Salary**: £31,200.00 per annum + Commission

We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us at Sonas Hotel Collection as **Groups Coordinator **at **The Sonas Hotel Collection.**

**About the role**:
At Sonas Hotel Collection, our mission is to deliver great highland hospitality to our guests, colleagues and neighbours. The word Sonas is Gaelic for Happiness, and happiness is our aim. We have four hotels currently, three on the Isle of Skye, and one just outside of Oban.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Groups Co-Ordinator to join our team and ensure the success and excellence of our Groups business.

This role will be based working remotely from home, with the ability to travel into Edinburgh City Centre to meet with clients as required, or to visit any property within the business as required.

**A snapshot of your key responsibilities**:

- Manage all group enquiries, contracting and co-ordination.
- Enter and/or modify group blocks in PMS to ensure inventory, stay dates, cancellation policy, deposit requirement, and booking procedure are reflected correctly.
- Manage the groups rooming list process.
- Maintain accurate filing system for groups and ensure that each group block is traced.
- Create and update group block notes to provide relevant data pertaining to all group reservations, and coordinate with other departments as needed to provide group reservation information and group needs as specified in contract.
- Provide and maintain reports and records of all group enquiries.
- Liaise with finance/reservations manager to ensure billing is accurate, payments up to date and any credit approvals are processed correctly.
- Working closely with location management teams to ensure the successful execution of group stays.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients/agents and outside contacts.

**Key requirements for this role**:

- Previous experience in a similar groups co-ordination role.
- Fantastic communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for great hospitality.
- Valid right to work within the United Kingdom.
