**Here at Mayborn Group, parent company of the award-winning baby brand Tommee Tippee, we have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Lead in Warehouse and Logistics to join us on a permanent basis (Please note this role will be required to travel frequently both in the UK and internationally)**

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the product receipt, storage, transportation, and delivery of tommee tippee products to our customers within the UK and EMEA markets. This will be achieved through the progressive management of all ‘in house’, 3rd party freight, warehousing and logistics contracts throughout the UK and Europe.

This individual will be required to continuously strive to meet and exceed contractual Service and Cost targets through effective supplier collaboration.

**What you will be doing**:

- Lead the design, definition and implementation of the strategy and roadmap for logistics within the context of the broader Group strategy and strategic logistics
- Influence and promote operational excellence and consistency across the structure to drive performance against key metrics (e.g. stock accuracy, quality of service, OTIF)
- Manage cost to provide a competitive solution for customers whilst providing required service levels
- Lead, advocate, and role model best practices with regards to logistics tools, processes, methodologies, and ways of working
- Manage and develop warehouse operations, using proven robust technologies to increase efficiency, drive performance and minimise costs
- Select and manage third-party logistics and warehousing partners that operate across multiple regions to maintain robust transport and storage networks maintaining stock availability across all regions and ensure deliveries are OTIF
- Ensure that the warehousing and logistics function continuously implements opportunities to improve, simplify and standardise ways of working to maximise efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure effective synchronisation of inbound container Supply Chains (Origin China, Morocco and UK) to ensure target levels of order fulfilment, while minimising cost to serve.
- Lead and own effective contract management of all UK and EU Freight, Logistics & warehousing 3PL partners (e.g. ESL, iForce, Ligentia, DHL, Bergatrans, Smartways) to ensure all contractual Cost and Service KPIs are consistently met or bettered.
- Lead 3PL contract tender processes as required. Flawlessly execute recommendations.
- Works with internal departments, 3PL’s and suppliers to ensure all required import and export shipments are executed appropriately as required by Customs and import / export country regulations.
- Management of D2C operations, carrier and partner performance across the UK and EU.
- P&L responsibility of D2C, 3PL’s and French warehousing operation.

**What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job**:

- Minimum 5yrs in a similar Supply Chain senior management position, with evidence of delivering transformational efficiency improvement programmes.
- Proven experience of Stock management (warehousing), import process and Logistics (distribution and transport operations) - supplying to Global retailers, preferably with experience in manufacturing companies.
- Proven experience & effective management of 3rd party Warehousing & Logistics suppliers, e.g. iForce, Ligentia, Canute.
- Proven strong & effective Project Management skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to interact effectively across many internal departments.
- Experienced Change Agent. Strong communicator and ability to build internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrate a strong commitment to team. The ability to spot improvement opportunities and convince others of same.
- Solid leadership skills and cultural awareness.
- Strong analytical data analysis skills, and budget management.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point etc.)
- Inside knowledge of 3PL Account Management
- Supply Chain management operational responsibility/experience across different manufacturing sectors supplying to retail.
