Information and communication systems are deployed and in use across the Force to help ensure that accurate and reliable information is made available to those who need it,when they need it and where they need it. **What do I need?** - Knowledge of software license management with a core focus on accuracy and quality, ideally with knowledge of core licensing programs (e.g. Microsoft Volume Licensing) - Experience working with 3rd party suppliers in software procurement and compliance matters - Experience of designing and maintaining policy and processes - Excellent problem-solving skills, with a positive "can do" attitude - Experience of planning, managing and prioritising your own workload - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical colleagues - Excellent stakeholder management skills **The Role**: We are on the search for a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to join the Digital Policing Service Delivery team. This exciting role is ideally suited to someone with knowledge and experience of working with software license management information includingcompliance, core licensing models and will bring a logical approach and keen eye for detail. The SAM Analyst role reduces organisational risk by ensuring SAM compliance across all software installations with all relevant software vendors and ensures any and all risk is visible to management. This role plays a key part in supporting the design, implementation, management, and continued improvement of our SAM system and approach. **What will I be doing?** You will use your passion and energy to drive, design, build and maintain the Digital Policing Software Licence Management service, including the associated policy, process, and procedures. The role has responsibility for the management of all software licenceassets. Working with software resellers, management and internal teams, you will use your insight to provide advice and guidance on how licensing agreements work. You will manage all software license compliance, requests, purchases, renewals and support the budgetaryforecast requirements.
