**Job description**:
Job Title: Maternity Cover Medical Administrator
This role is to cover maternity until March 2026.
**Location**: Haddenham (In-person)
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Expected Hours**: 20 hours per week
**Pay**: £12.21 per hour
**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Primary Duties**:
- Summarise and process incoming patient records.
- File, organise, and store documents securely and accurately.
- Manage updates to patient registrations, including new registrations and deductions.
- Enter data into patients’ healthcare records with a high level of accuracy.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally, handling queries or transferring calls as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work area at all times.
- Provide general administrative support to clinical and non-clinical staff as required.
**Secondary Duties**:
- Request repeat prescriptions through the GP or Pharmacy team.
- Scan and distribute incoming post to relevant departments or individuals.
- Please note:_ Duties may vary depending on workload and staffing levels.
**Requirements**:
**Experience (Preferred but not essential)**:
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
**Skills and Attributes**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in basic IT and data entry.
- Able to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Must be able to reliably commute to Haddenham or plan to relocate before starting.
- English language proficiency (preferred).
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
