**Job Summary**:
We're seeking an exceptional individual to join Cazoo as a **HR Assistant** to work within our Employment Relations Team to aid our journey to create the UK's best car buying experience.

The People Services Team plays a key role at Cazoo, growing and retaining our employees, supporting our managers and ensuring a world class employee experience.

As a vital member of the team, you'll be contributing to the development of our culture in line with our values, partnering and supporting the People Team to help them build and develop an exceptional service to our employees. At Cazoo, we are always wanting our employees to achieve their career objectives, and the opportunity will be available to become a HR Advisor within 12 - 18months.

If you have a solid base of HR experience, a passion for people and have or willing to work towards your CIPD level 5, then we want to hear from you

**About this role and the impact you will have**:

- Prepare documentation to the company standard for grievances, disciplinaries, welfare and other adhoc meetings.
- To ensure accurate records are kept of meetings, and that the evidence is applicable to support the recommended outcomes.
- Maintain the company people systems database ensuring it is accurate and up to date.
- Assist the team with preparing reports and checking details submitted.
- Liaise with the payroll team to ensure evidence is provided to them of leavers, and anything where pay would be affected.
- Liaise with the people team on employment cases to ensure the team feel supported and able to carry out performance management and employee support meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR policies and practices, propose and implement solutions to improve.
- Support the People Services Team with ensuring right to work evidence is received and logged correctly.
- Maintain and support the People Services Team with the absence management process.
- To support the people team with all aspects of HR as required.
- To support the company with projects to improve processes and whole employee experience.
- To develop your knowledge and skills to assist the team in providing accurate advice and guidance to the whole Company in relation to employment relation matters.
- To develop your knowledge and skills in relation to all aspects of the People Advisory role.
- Monitor & respond to queries from the HR and Employee Relations inbox.
- Administer company benefits as requested.

**We're looking for some with**:

- Previous experience of working as an HR Assistant or similar role.
- Excellent organisation and administration skills.
- Working knowledge of Google docs and excel spreadsheets is preferred.
- HR Degree and/or working towards CIPD level 5 or equivalent would be desirable, or we would expect the person to complete this during the training period.
- Experience of analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to organise and analyse data.
- Excellent Attention to detail.
- Passionate about the whole employee experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
