Within the HR Business Services team we have an exciting opportunity for a HR assistant.

Purpose of the Job

You will be part of a small, friendly team providing administrative support to deliver an accurate HR service across the Council. You will oversee compliance with entering contractual changes onto our ERP system, producing HR documentation and keeping up to date with general HR administration for the Council.

Key Accountabilities

To undertake the duties of inputting contractual changes into systems and maintaining the employee record.

To produce and send out HR contractual documents, such as changes to contract letters and contracts of employment.

To provide advice on a range of HR related queries to our customers.

Skills Required
- Proven experience of best practice, HR policy and procedures
- Strong organisation skills
- Effective communicator, with good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of using HR systems.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with customer
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
