**Discovery Vine Childcare** are seeking to employ an Assistant Supervisor at their Out of School Club at Fulwood St Peters Church of England Primary School.

Discovery Vine Childcare provides a high standard of care and education in each of our settings where children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and interact with others.

As part of your role, you will be responsible for helping the supervisor in the running of the club along with, focusing on the children's emotional wellbeing, and planning interesting and exciting activities for their continuing learning and development. You will also be developing close relationships with our children and their families. You will also be required to step up in the supervisors absence.

**Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following**:

- Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Help plan activities appropriately for children.
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
- Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion.
- Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with.

**The ideal applicant**:

- Will have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
- Experience of working with children and families
- Knowledge of Safeguarding

The hours are 3.00pm - 6.00pm Monday to Friday during term time.
