**A great opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our clients team on a six month fixed term contract.**
**Our client is at the forefront of innovative cancer care with their UK network of cancer centres. They provide the most suitable, state-of-the-art cancer treatment and an exceptional level of care to every patient. The centres deliver high-qualitydiagnostic imaging and the latest in advanced cancer treatments including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and, in the future, proton beam therapy across all centres.**
**Job Purpose**
The post holder will support the Human Resources Officer and the Human Resources Assistant to deliver a robust service that supports the company and its business subsidiaries and overall strategic aims and objectives.
The role will provide a HR generalist administrative support/service for the department to support supervisors, line managers and senior management within the business. Administration support will be for all business subsidiaries.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain the HR filing system and carry out appropriate audits - electronically and in hard copy format.
- Administer and co-ordinate onboarding inductions for all new starters including tracking induction checklists and feedback forms, ensuring the HR Assistant is provided with all the relevant details for delivery of the Corporate Induction.
- Support the HR Assistant with the relevant updates for IRIS in relation to monthly HR Reports.
- Administer study leave and training requests including monitoring of feedback forms.
- Scan all new starters onto e-files and create hard copy files.
- Input/update staffing data on IRIS.
- Monitor, update and process probationary period documentation.
- Undertake HR filing regularly and accurately in order that effective filing systems are maintained.
- Deal with enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and to the highest possible standards of customer care.
- Provide necessary/appropriate cover during the absence of other members of the HR team.
- To handle general queries into the HR department, signposting onwards as appropriate.
- Effective communication with HR Officer/HR Assistant in relation to daily workload and priorities of the department.
- To provide administrative support for HR processes including note taking at meetings, investigations or disciplinary meetings.
- To maintain appropriate confidentiality of information relating to the Company and its staff and maintain compliance with relevant data protection legislation/GDPR.
- Manage the HR Mailbox in the absence of the HR Officer/HR Administrator in a timely manner to ensure that all general day to day enquiries are responded to appropriately. Signpost queries to the HR Officer/HR Assistant if unable to respond or there is theneed to escalate.
**Place of Work**
Your normal place of work will be in the offices in Newport however, you may/will be required to travel in the course of your duties to attend meetings and other appointments. Travel and reasonable expenses will be paid in line with the Company’s ExpensesPolicy.
**Experience and Competencies**
- A minimum of 3 years Administrator/Co-Ordinator role.
- Experience and ability to demonstrate providing administrative support at a multitude of levels.
- Ability to maintain electronic filing system.
- Excellent communication, written and numeracy skills.
- Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively.
- Experience and ability to demonstrate proficient database management skills.
- Note-taking/minute-taking skills.
