We sell true vintage items as well as designing and producing our own 1940s and 50s replica pieces. Loved by vintage clothing and fashion enthusiasts plus favoured by the costume departments of TV, theatre and movie companies worldwide. You would be joining our team at an exciting time as we relocate to characterful new premises in Huddersfield.

**Who is this role for?**

We are looking for an experienced bricks & mortar classic fashion retail assistant. You will have a proven track record of first class customer service and merchandising skills. Our showroom will be your domain and it will be your responsibility to take care of customers, present it at it's best and help promote it.

**Key Duties**:
**ATTEND TO CUSTOMERS**

Welcome visitors. Assess customer needs.

Help them find suitable options and encourage them to make purchase decisions.

Have the knowledge to confidently style customers for a specific decade or genre.

Utilise upsell opportunities by suggesting coordinating items.

Process and record payments.

**SHOWROOM PROMOTION**

Ask visitors for photographs if they are happy for us to share

Create general showroom content to assist the marketing team

Photography and video

**MERCHANDISING**

Display stock to show at it’s best

Displays updated to keep the showroom looking fresh and seasonal

**PRESENTATION & CLEANLINESS**

Attention to detail in terms of matching hangers, size cubes, tags etc

**CUSTOMER SERVICE**

Answer customer queries relating to stock and show room visits

**ADDITIONAL DUTIES**

Depending on the successful applicants experience this might include occasional marketing tasks, help on photography shoots or blog writing. We aim to make all our jobs varied and rewarding.

**Experience**:

- _Welcoming, confident personality. Customer Service._
- _A proven ability to merchandise fashion._
- _Good photography _
- _Interest in fashion, clothing history, garment construction or vintage clothing._
- _Attention to detail to ensure the showroom is clean and presentable at all times._
- _Basic computer skills will be required._
- _Must be willing to work 10-4pm Saturdays._

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 28 per week
