The Inventory Analyst creates forecasting information to support the production and procurement of product. Working closely with the Sale, Sourcing/Procurement, Production, Finance, and other teams to ensure the best business support.
Mainly focused around the companies Fragrance business the role will review all collections as well as support bespoke products. This is a varied role working on product supporting independent business up to multinational retailers. Alongside this role willbe digital forecasting and management of stock support for the Ecommerce side of the company’s portfolio. Looking at sales trend, and supporting the Ecommerce team to remain in stock and available.
This is an exciting and varied role, supporting the business in a wide scope of areas.
**Inventory Analyst Responsibilities:**:

- Maintain and update the existing forecast system by liaising with the appropriate internal departments
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results
- Reconcile internal activities to identify any significant discrepancies.Refine the model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
- Ecommerce/digital stock management - using reports and forecasting
- Providing data to support the businesses strategic drivers
- Ordering production of stock and managing the businesses expectations

**Inventory Analyst Requirements**:

- Strong Excel skills
- Highly Analytical
- Strong communication skills, verbally and written.
- Able to work independently and as part of the team
- Managing and prioritising workload, able to react to changes that occur
- Ecommerce and digital platform understanding is advantageous.
- Comfortable in forming interdepartmental relationships to enable the team to develop further support for the teams (internal customers)
- Forward thinking and motivated
