**Office Manager / Administrator** - £25,000 Basic Salary - Full-time/Permanent
Our client is an established construction related business based in Weston-super-Mare. Due to continued expansion, they are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Office Manager / Administrator to join their operational support team.
The Office Manager / Administrator will be responsible for organising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the office. This includes the organising of people, information and other resources. You must ensure that officeequipment is maintained, relevant records, inspections and consents are up to date and that all administration processes work effectively.
**Office Manager / Administrator - Accountabilities**:
- Respond and deal with all incoming telephone calls, post and visitors.
- Opening and closing of office and site as and when required.
- Manage online and paper filing systems.
- Develop and implement new administrative systems, such as record management.
- Arrange meetings, allocate rooms/office space / minute take and organise accommodation, catering and transport as required.
- Record office expenditure and manage budget.
- Setting up new contract file, both electronically and hardcopy, filing of all contract paperwork.
- Checking off of weekly allocation sheets to ensure all received in a timely manner and forwarded on as necessary.
- Organise the office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment, undertake stock checks.
- Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs.
- Organise induction programmes for new employees.
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints and Hire requests.
- Ensure that correct safety procedures and policies are observed and adhered to in the office and site environment.
- Check that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data.
- Arrange regular and appropriate testing and inspection of office and site equipment and maintain appropriate records.
- Support our Sub Contractors with any Administration support they require.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties and tasks as requested by management or that are required to ensure the smooth running of the business.
**Office Manager / Administrator - Requirements**:
- Office administration experience essential.
- Microsoft exposure, including; Office, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible approach.
- Excellent Organisational skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be a team player with the confidence to work on your own initiative.
- Have good communication and computer skills particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Enthusiasm and results focused with an ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
