We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Senior HR Adviser **to help expand the College’s HR provision. You will be looking for a new challenge, progression or a sideways move to work in an environment that supports your personal and professional development. Reporting to the Head of HR you will work as part of a busy, professional team driving the HR provision forward at a time of continuing organisational growth and innovation. As a Senior HR Adviser you will play a pivotal role in advising and supporting managers on people related issues and delivering people annual life cycle activities related to performance, talent and reward as well as taking the lead on project work across a variety of HR related areas. Experience in ER cases as well as ability to write and review policy and process are essential. To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate the following:

- L5 CIPD qualification.
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- CIPD member.
- Proven capability working in a generalist HR role including providing operational advice on a range of employment matters to managers.
- Providing employment law advice across a range of issues.
- Experience of devising and/or reviewing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Experience of managing casework including investigations, hearings and appeals.
- Can demonstrate experience of absence management relating to complex cases leading to successful outcomes.
- Demonstrates excellent Microsoft Office skills with an ability to learn new systems and packages quickly.
- Proven background in successfully working as part of a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current employment related legislation.
- People focussed with a collaborative approach to support organisational outcomes.
- High level of ability to influence and persuade.
- Demonstrates a can do attitude and a resilient approach to their work.
- Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to successfully manage a diverse and busy workload and support team priorities.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.

**Full time, 37 hours a week all year round or substantial part time.**

**Salary: £33,814 FTE**
