Here at GXO, we are looking for a Team Leader to join our Virgin Media contract based in Wellingborough.This role is a full-time, permanent role working 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday - yes, that’s right - weekends off

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £13.09 per hour. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Developing, leading and motivating your team of up to 20 operatives
- Leading the team on health and safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
- Actively manage your available resource, distribute workload and adapt the activity to the changes throughout the day
- Maintaining a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Recent experience in managing a team in a warehouse environment and delivering an excellent level of customer service
- Well-versed in warehouse management systems and current health and safety and compliance legislation
- IT skills including Excel and proficiency with spreadsheets as you will be required to interpret and analyse data daily
