Job Description

We are creating a new role for our UK marketing team: Affiliate and Influencer Partnerships Lead. The aim is to significantly scale-up our tactical outreach and collaboration efforts with affiliates and influencers in the UK, with a focus on our investing product. The mission is to build and nurture a network of high-impact partnerships that amplify our brand and drive customer acquisition. While the scope is primarily affiliates and influencers, it will also extend to managing 'refer-a-friend' and engaging with other team members and agencies to link influencer marketing and organic social efforts together.

Your role in the team

The UK is IG Group's biggest market by revenues, and IG is the biggest brand in the UK leveraged trading sector (by revenues). As such this is a prominent role in the UK team and the wider company. Partnerships has not been a focus for the UK recently and we need an experienced leader to rebuild and revitalise our efforts - particularly as we seek to grow our investing products very rapidly in 2025.

This is a critical role for the UK marketing leadership team.

The UK is also a huge opportunity for IG. We start from a position of strength but we have opportunities to diversify into adjacent products; challenge other brands with higher customer volumes (but lower revenues); and grow engagement with our existing, loyal base.

What you’ll do
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for affiliate and influencer partnerships, and refer-a-friend, to support IG's investing products
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with key affiliates and influencers to maximise product awareness and customer acquisition
- Work closely with our Compliance teams to push creativity as far as possible within the boundaries of our FCA obligations
- Analyse partnership performance data to inform decision-making and strategy refinement
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of partnership initiatives, particularly engaging organic social team members and agencies to link influencers, affiliates and social together
- Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes in the UK financial sector

What you’ll need for this role
- Experience in a scale-up or ambitious growth environment would be beneficial
- Proven track record of building successful partnerships and driving growth
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical capabilities
- Strong understanding of the UK investment landscape and regulatory environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
