The National Trading Centre (NTC) In Bolton provides a tailored commercial underwriting service and proposition to small and medium sized brokers nationwide. Led by a highly experienced management team with many years in the insurance industry, they are proud to have around 60 dedicated individuals supporting our partners, building long term partnerships, and delivering excellent products and service to our customers.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Trainee Underwriter, you’ll be working alongside our experienced Mid-Market underwriters, dealing with £10K+ premium levels, providing excellent service and working to demanding targets. This will involve building relationships and speaking confidently with brokers over the phone. As well as providing administration support within the team, you’ll learn how to underwrite new and existing mid-market business profitably, accurately and in line with established Underwriting practice.

Most of all, you’ll take pride in the service you offer to all customers and partners. At AXA we’re adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the Bolton office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers
