**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Paralegal to join the Dispute Resolution team at our Derby office.

This is an excellent opening for individuals who wish to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of contentious disputes. Our team in Derby consists of two experienced partners, two associates and a paralegal.We are now looking for a paralegalto join the professional negligence and commercial litigation groups. The role will allow you gain experience and support the team in a wide range of commercial disputes and deal with a large number of professional negligence claims. You will be responsiblefor managing incoming telephone calls and liaising and updating clients and speaking to opponents.Excellent telephone and communication skills are therefore essential.

Client care is paramount in this role along with excellent administration and organisational skills.We are looking for individuals who are able to work as part of a team and who are comfortable following processes and procedures to established deadlines.Previous experience or knowledge of pre-action protocols and claims against solicitors would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
