**Junior Scrum Master**
**Up to £30,000 - remote with 1 day a month on site in Manchester**

Looking for a scale up business who is changing constantly to accommodate their workforce?

Look no further We are working closely with a business who have a HQ in central Manchester within walking distance of Piccadilly & Victoria station. The company is looking to get the most out of its team, ensure smooth running, and fast, refined and prioritised working across their departments. The business focuses on creating software centred around helping manage and maintain social housing. This means they work closely with social housing providers, to ensure that vulnerable people, and those in need, don't get left without a home. They are the largest social housing data depository in the U.K., meaning they work with nothing but pure, clean data. They aim to promote progression in unison across the social housing market, which is also evident in their practice and promotion of being tech for good.

The day-to-day:

- Hosting and facilitating the daily stand ups, as well as resolving any issues which arise during these meetings.
- Following agile engineering practices, as well as ensuring the scrum team follows agile practices, to ensure the swift and successful delivery of the product.
- Creating, monitoring, and managing sprints deployed across the team.
- Liaising with the other teams such as the product management team, in order to ensure effective prioritisation and consistent task estimation, and other heads of departments in order to ensure the continuous improvement of the Technology Division.
- Reporting your findings and feedback to the Director of Engineering.
- 1 year of scrum master experience in a commercial environment
- Excellent communication & people skills, harbouring the ability to motivate and inspire the team
- Experience of Agile Development Methodologies and Agile Engineering Practises
- Superb planning and organisational skills, with an ability to navigate and resolve issues that cause disruption to progress within the team.
- Commercial experience of software within a SaaS business.
- Degree-level education, or equivalent, such as Software Engineering training and experience in a commercial experience.
- Accreditation as an Agile Scrum Master (e.g., ICAgile, BCS, CSM etc) to a foundation level or better.
