One of my Medical device clients based in Reading are looking for an IT Controls Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract ASAP.
The role is Inside IR35, it will require you to be on site every Wednesday and Thursday for the first month and potentially only Wednesday after this. The day rate for this role is £650 a day.

- **Job Summary**:
xx is looking for a technically accomplished IT Controls Analyst to help them with both business-as-usual IT Risk Management duties, as well bringing your strong technical understanding of controls design to assist in the automation of controls monitoring.This role will fulfil two roles at xxx:

- Maintenance of our current management of IT risks through assurance of IT controls to avoid audit and compliance issues
- Design of NIST-aligned technical controls that may be automated, as part of xxx Enterprise Risk Management strategy

This role therefore requires strong technical skills, combined with a strong understanding of formal Audit methodology.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
IT Risk Management
- Perform regular control assessments of IT General Controls for financial reporting systems e.g., SAP and End User Computing, Networking, Information Security, Change & Incident Management
- Ensure control deficiencies are tracked and proactively managed.
- Design and implementation of automated controls monitoring.
- Keep the Information Security & Privacy team aware of potential compliance issues.

Control definition and design
- Analysis of NIST protective frameworks' Functions, Categories and Subcategories, to derive Control Objectives
- Development of detailed automated Controls, leveraging CVT's existing systems and sources of compliance data
- Development of control thresholds to support CVTs ERM strategy
- **Experience**:
**_Required:_**:

- Minimum of five years experience in systems engineering or administration
- Minimum three years of IT audit or controls assurance experience
- Outsourced service management experience
