Welding Supervisor

A Welding Supervisor/Inspector is required for a busy metal fabrication shop in South Shields to cover the following responsibilities:
1. Act as the companies point of contact for all welding activities

2. Manage our catalogue of weld procedures and welders

3. Write and arrange qualification of weld procedures where required

4. Assist in the maintenance of ISO3834 and BSEN1090 standards by acting as the
companies assistant RWC

5. Carry out dimensional/visual weld inspection when required

6. Liaise with client/third party inspectors

7. Manage the creation/production of contract documentation packages/MRBs

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- Quality assurance 5 years
- CSWIP 3.1 Minimum

Work Location: In person

Pay: From £50,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
