We are a business looking to recruit a motivated individual to work in our busy Commercial Insurers Brokers office in Poulton-Le-Fylde, Lancashire, as an Account Handler.

Providing a wide range of Commercial Insurances to our clients, this is a chance to join a growing business with drive and ambition.

**Your Role**

Your role will be as an Account Handler, supporting Account Executives with their books of business, dealing with customer enquiries, inputting data, processing renewals, answering telephone calls and handling certain new business enquiries.

**What’s needed for me to be considered?**
- Experience in a similar role in the Commercial Insurance sector.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of the Acturis Platform preferred.

**Job description**
- Retain clients and provide excellent customer service at all times by way of telephone, face-to-face and written communication
- Provide administrative support and prepare insurance documentation
- Assist in the handling of claims in accordance with company standards
- Ensure accurate and complete information is entered on to the computer database
- Provide clients with documentation in accordance with company procedures, debit and collect insurance premiums in line with credit control procedures
- Maintain and develop product knowledge to keep up to date with changes in the market place.
- Operate at all times within the rules of the FCA and with any and all statutory regulations as issued by the company or as documented in the company’s internal procedures.
- Computer literate.
- Organised and able to work under pressure.
- Illustrate attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, sales and negotiation skills.
- Good telephone manner.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to make decisions within competency levels.
- Positive outlook with focus on being a team player.
- Well presented and reliable.
- Able to take instruction and work on own initiative

Salary will depend upon experience/qualifications.
