Working 37.5 hours a week, you'll join the team at St Mary's Hospital in Warrington, which provides specialised services for people with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), progressive neurological conditions, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Deaf MentalHealth problems, with a layout that enables you to deliver care within a low stimulus, spacious environment.
Working alongside the Clinical Development Lead for Learning Disability and Autism, you will use Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) frameworks to implement processes as you help some of the most vulnerable people insociety.
You will be responsible for undertaking behavioural assessments, developing and overseeing the implementation of positive behaviour support plans to assistant services users' recovery.
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will maintain good working relationships with your team, regularly reviewing and updating on service users' update reports, ongoing assessments, PBS and care plans.
With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you'll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support you to reach your career goals.
**_A recognised PBS qualification is required for this role _**
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Undertake behavioural assessments, including functional analyses, and provide interpretations of data and feedback reports.
- To support MDTs to produce PBS plans following good practice guidance in this area
- To exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment and intervention with service users alongside the multidisciplinary team
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- A recognised qualification in PBS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent self-presentation
- Good knowledge of PBS theory/practice
- Previous working experience post qualified
- Experience of working in a health setting
