We are Plastic Merchant based in Oadby to the south of Leicester. We are looking at expanding our close nit team, who are more like family than colleagues. We are looking for a Van driver/Yard person to help us deliver an amazing service to our customers.

**Responsibilities and Duties to include**:
Checking and strapping loads

Daily van checks

Route planning and time management

Checking the load and receiving signatures from the customers

Observing and obeying driving & health & safety laws

Picking and loading orders

This is a broad outline of the main responsibilities. The job holder will be required to be flexible in the role, responsibilities and duties may change as the job roles requires.

**Qualifications and Skills**

You must be physically fit, as this is a physically demanding role involving unloading heavy materials.

You must have a full valid UK driving licence.

Delivery driving experience and good knowledge of the Leicester area is preferred.

A forklift license is useful but not essential.

Your numeracy & literacy skills should be strong, alongside a good command of the English language.

A good level of customer service is essential as you will be at the forefront of the business delivering the goods to site.

**Benefits**

**Salary**: Base salary of £25,500 per year plus a discretionary, performance related bonus.
