**Reporting to the Student Safety Team Leader, you will be responsible for**:

- Managing security and safety incidents as they occur, following documented policies to ensure the well-being of our customers is a priority.
- Completing regular building patrols to maintain property standards and ensure site security.
- Working as part of a team to complete tasks and projects benefitting the wider team and City Operations.
- Becoming competent on the in-house system which manages administration of customer accounts and scheduling or requesting maintenance.
- Basic maintenance tasks to ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner in keeping with great customer service.
- Respond to fire alarms promptly in line with relevant legislation.
- Be fully aware of and able to carry out emergency contingency plans in the event of major incidents, escalating as appropriate.

- You have a full UK Driver’s License
- Comfortable driving vans
- Team working skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work on own initiative to ensure the team operates at a high standard
- Ability to remain calm and clear headed in high stress situations
- Ability to clearly and concisely log and report incidents as necessary and the ability to communicate effectively

Schedule:

- Rotational Shift Pattern generally Monday to Sunday with the requirement to be flexible across 5 out of 7 days a week working evenings and nights to be part of a 24-hour operation
- Part-time and Full-time hours are both available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 17-42.5 per week

**Salary**: From £11.39 per hour
