We have an exciting opportunity to join The Crosby Group as Production Controller.

Your mission will be to ensure production is policed for discrepancies before and after production and maintain a smooth flow for the effective running of production to follow our plan.

**Main Responsibilities**:
Product:

- Check output on SAP to detect any process related issues.
- Involvement in immediate countermeasures & corrective actions for all SAP discrepancies.
- Ensure product is in correct staging lanes for each machine
- Ensure product for external machinists or services is ready in goods out area.
- Ensure all incoming product is delivered into correct area
- Ensure all finished product is delivered into our warehouse.

Process:

- Release and stage production orders in line with plan.
- Support all other business requirements as & when needed.
- Migo and confirm TO on orders.
- Daily check on bookings to ensure counts are correct.
- Liaise with Sub contract companies for deliveries in and out with lead times.
- Organise transport for external processes.
- Raise Purchase orders for external services on sub contract operations.
- Goods receipt on purchase orders on return of product.
- Clear any required purchase requisitions
- Check all open T/O’s
- Check all Migo’s have been actioned
- Check all open orders to see if TECO is required using COOIS report
- Keep PSA clean and rectify any issues
- Control Cycle count plan
- Goods receipt for all components

Profit:

- Ensure post forge production quantities achieved.
- Immediate escalation of issues impacting production to Post Forge Manager/Team Leader and Planning Department.
- Involvement in productivity workshops to improve efficiency & reduce costs.

Progress:

- Make suggestions for improvement & help implement agreed actions.
- Participate in improvement projects according to business requirements.
- Train operatives on booking in system.

**Performance Indicators**:

- Number days without accident.
- Number of suggestions for improvement.
- PSA - target of 0
- Open purchase orders/requisitions
- Open production orders

**Required Skills**:

- Attention to detail.
- Fork lift truck licence.
- SAP knowledge.
