Volunteer Collection Tin Helper

Do you like getting out and about? Are you responsible and well organised? Are you keen to volunteer for a local charity? Then this role could be for you.
We are looking for volunteers who can take on the role of coordinating our collection tins
This is a flexible role which would suit both drivers or non drivers - if you have access to a car (mileage expenses will be covered) and you’re willing to, you can cover a larger area of our network or if you don’t, you can coordinate the collection tins in your local community.
This role is varied but might include the following:
- Identify, visit and contact new shops or businesses to hold Guild Care collection tins
- Phone the businesses on a 3-month rolling basis to ask how they are getting on.
- Collect tins no longer wanted and deliver them back to Guild Care's fundraising office.
- Swap empty tins for full ones as and when required.
- Communicate / report any errors or issues to the Fundraising Officer.
- Be mindful of health and safety good practice and work accordingly.
- Be polite, courteous, professional and friendly to the rest of the team and customers.
- We understand that volunteers may have strengths and interests in different areas, and we have therefore indicated below a range of tasks and activities volunteers could be expected to assist with and support within this role._
**Job Types**: Part-time, Volunteer
