If you are looking for a post to build on the HR foundations you have already begun, we are looking for you.

We have an opportunity to work within our People Directorate delivering operational Human Resources services and supporting colleagues in the delivery of some of our redesign projects.

You will be a part of our supportive and highly regarded team working closely with our colleagues in Operational service delivery and Quality to enable them to provide excellent services to our patients and service users.

Key areas of focus will be providing absence management and HR coaching/advice supporting HR colleagues and Trust-wide leaders to deliver effective people management in line with our Values. You will also support colleagues in the delivery of our wider portfolio - which includes diversity & inclusion, recruitment, workforce planning & transformation, apprenticeships, our Just Culture approach and projects that reach right across the health system in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

You will need some experience of operational Human Resources, a passion to make a difference for our NHS workforce, patients and service users, and a drive to deliver.
- To support the People Directorate in the development and achievement of corporate objectives. To participate in project groups and to develop aspects of corporate HR initiatives under the guidance of the Head of HR, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or other senior manager within the team as deemed appropriate
- Key areas of activity will be:

- the interpretation of terms and conditions of employment and Trust policy
- the management of attendance
- employee relations issues
- HR support to investigations
- employee grievances
- Provision of workforce information to Managers
- Support to the recruitment process
- HR advice

Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust provides community-based health services for adults and children in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and some services in surrounding areas too. These range from district nursing, health visiting and running four community hospitals through to providing very specialist community care through talented and dedicated staff.
