**Full Time Permanent Sales Assistant(s) (30 Hours per Week)**

We are currently seeking a **_passionate, enthusiastic_** and **_results driven_** sales assistant to join our team, with proven experience of working within a high-quality retail environment. This position is for a full-time contract of 30 hours per week (including evenings and weekends).

At Chill with our knowledge, experience, and passion we strive to enhance our customers’ experience of wines, spirits and beers from around the world in a welcoming, friendly and ever-knowledge-searching environment.

Chill is a well-established, independent Wine, Spirits and Beer Merchants based in Derry City.

As a Chill Team Member, you will be an ambassador for the brand and will receive quality training to ensure your product knowledge is the best in the business. You will drive the success of the business by influencing sales and exceeding customer expectations.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Building strong customer relationships and brand loyalty by offering exceptional customer service, adapting your approach depending on the individual needs of the customer.
- Providing expert knowledge and up to date information on our product ranges, promotions, and special offers.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets as set out by management and maximising sales instore.
- Being a brand and store ambassador.
- Accuracy in the operation of till transactions and cash handling.
- Stock maintenance.
- Merchandising products.
- Adhering to Health and Safety Policy.
- Assisting with the implementation of Underage Policies and adhering to the relevant legislation.
- General Housekeeping.

**Essential Requirements**:
- Applicants must be enthusiastic with a passion to learn and develop their knowledge and skills.
- Applicants must be confident communicators with a very good level of English to deal effectively with customers.
- Applicants must have the ability to work as part of a team and make positive contributions to the team as well work lone shifts and on own initiative without supervision.
- Applicants must demonstrable commitment to goals, objectives, and the vision of the business.
- Applicants must have the ability to be self-motivated and engage effectively with the business, its customers suppliers and all managers and employees.
- Applicants must be friendly, honest, and reliable.
- Applicants must have very high standard of numeracy and accuracy skills.
- Applicants must be fully flexible and available for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Applicants must have good attendance and punctuality.
- Applicants must be over 18 years old.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in UK.

- Salary from £7.49 - £10.42 per hour
