We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated domestic abuse practitioner to work within our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub initially for a 1-year fixed term position.
MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub) acts as a single front door for all children’s safeguarding concerns in addition to requests and referrals for support via our targeted Family Help services in Bury Council. The MASH is made up of professionals from the police, education, health, and other services and provides a multi-agency approach when dealing with children’s safeguarding. As the MASH domestic abuse practitioner, you will act as voice for children & young people at the various meetings and forums and contribute to assist agencies in developing a more robust approach when dealing with domestic abuse issues. You will also represent children’s social care at various multi-agency meetings including daily Domestic Abuse Partnership Meetings, MARAC (multi-agency risk assessment conference) and the Perpetrator Panel (PAST).
