**Salary: £24,838 - £31,047 plus a discretionary bonus potential of up to 8% of annual salary**

**THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL**

We‘re looking for a Metering Reading Resolution Specialist who will be responsible for working on meter related validations, data match failures and the resolution of contractor skipped meter reads. You will be working as part of a busy and dynamic service delivery team, resolving meter related issues to minimise regulatory fines.

**WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?**
- Handling meter reads that come through multiple internal systems and ensuring they complete their journey to the external market within regulatory code
- Making outbound contact with the customer to obtain meter reads to fulfil reading schedules
- Investigating broken meter issues and making informed decisions based on the needs of the customer, Wave and the market
- Ensuring meter data is correctly maintained, to improve the ability to obtain future meter reads and assist with accurate billing

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**

With a customer service background, you will have a friendly and persuasive telephone manner, be competent in dealing with queries and possess strong communication skills.

**You will be able to**:

- Resolve metering validations and data integrity failures.
- Confidently liaise with customers, operations teams and contract providers.
- Monitor efficient system performance in the delivery of meter reads to the Billing system.
- Work effectively across multiple internal systems to ensure meter reads complete their journey to the external market within Regulatory code.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and contractors to optimise meter reading scheduled routes.
- Make informed decisions on meter asset defects.
- Identify opportunities to offer customers value added services, utilising meter read data where appropriate.
- You will possess excellent organisational skills and be able to use your own initiative.
