Billing Administrator

Axon Moore are recruiting an Billing Administrator on behalf of a very successful FTSE250 company based in Manchester City Centre, in the trendy Spinningfields area.
We are ideally seeking a Billing Administrator with at least 1-2 years’ experience in a billing role, or similar accounting role. The current structure is a team of 3 with a Billing Team Leader heading up the team and being your direct report. You will be responsiblefor raising client invoices and credit notes and ensuring queries are responded to in a timely way.
Salary and benefits:
Salary - up to £23k per annum, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, excellent pension, full health care cover and health cash plan, study support, brand new offices. 35 hours a week with flexibility between 8am and 6pm. 60% work in the office (2 days at home)with flexibility.
Responsibilities include:
- Raising invoices annually and throughout the month
- Raise any legal invoices
- Support the Credit Control process where necessary
- Any ad-hoc finance tasks as required
- Know and abide by company policies and regulatory rules wherever necessary
- Be part of the training and development and performance processes
Experience & Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in Billing or a similar accounting role
- Use of Sage and intermediate Excel skills would be beneficial. Basic Excel would be essential
- Good time planning skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter with excellent team work abilities, who works autonomously and hard under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills - approachable and down to earth with good communication and teamwork skills
