Pay : £75 - £150 per day (dependant on vehicle capacity)

We provide systems training, driver shadowing and class room training.

FGR is currently recruiting skilled multi-drop delivery drivers for a leading parcel delivery brand in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity offering an extremely competitive daily rate.

**Please note this position requires your own vehicle which must be in good condition, bodywork and mechanically and no older than 5 years since first date of registration. You will require a DBS check and right to work in the UK, a Full UK driving licence and all relevant insurance cover for your vehicle.**

This is a self-employed position with weekly payments every Friday, with a two-week payment delay.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Delivery Management:

- Effectively manage and prioritise a demanding workload of up to 140 parcels per day.
- Plan and optimise routes using the provided delivery software to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are securely loaded and unloaded from the delivery vehicle.
- Follow company protocols for safe handling and transportation of goods.

2. Communication and Reporting:

- Maintain clear and effective communication with the dispatch team, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Utilise the provided technology tools to report and document any delivery exceptions or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and team members to share best practices and improve overall delivery operations.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a clean and valid driver's licence with an excellent driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience as a multi drop driver or in a similar delivery role is highly preferred.
- Time Management: Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle a high volume of deliveries efficiently.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights, ensuring safe handling practices.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and communicate effectively with the dispatch team.
- Navigation Skills: Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools to plan routes and navigate efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free deliveries.
- Professionalism: A customer-centric mindset with a professional and friendly demeanour.
- Reliability: Dependability and punctuality are essential for meeting delivery deadlines.
