Hours: Up to 27 per week working Mon - Thurs 9.30 - 3.00 and Friday 9.30 - 2.30pm

Hourly Rate: £17,620 per annum (Hourly rate £12.55)

Overview

Orchardville is a voluntary organisation and registered charity that supports young people and adults with learning disability or autism to live, learn and work. Established in 1982 we offer high quality day opportunity and employment services to over 600 participants each year who attend services in Belfast, North Down, Lisburn and Derry/ Londonderry. The work we do is life-changing for participants, enabling them to lead independent lives, gain employment and become fully included in their community.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and confident project worker to support participants at our day opportunity service in North Down. You will support participants to take part in various activities such as arts/crafts, cookery, gardening, training courses and outings in the community. As well as supporting small groups you will also support some participants on a 1-1 basis, the support does not involve regulated activities such as personal care.
