The main function of the role is to:Provide the highest possible standard of care and support to Service Users by actively promoting and implementing Recovery by using a strengths based person centred approach.ResponsibilitiesDevelop & maintain a trusting & professional relationship with Service Users and act in a supportive & empathetic manner towards them.Contribute to & help maintain a harmonious and therapeutic environment.Support Service Users to manage their Mental health, physical health and wellbeing through the development, implementation and monitoring of individual wellbeing and safety management plans.Actively encourage the involvement of Service Users in all aspects of decision making, be sensitive and seek solutions to difficulties encountered by them.Deliver care & support within the context of a social inclusion and recovery approach which is designed to work with people to find and maintain hope, re-establish a positive identity, build a meaningful life and take responsibility and control.Skills and QualificationsBe educated to QCF/NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, in a related subject e.g. Care and 6 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.A minimum of 12 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.Have proven experience of motivating, supporting and mentoring Service Users.Experience of maintaining service user and agency records.Working knowledge of using IT systemsFurther InformationTo be flexible as the role will involve working on a rota/shift basis in Supported Housing. Shifts will include early shifts, late shifts, night shifts, weekend and/or night cover as required to meet the needs of the scheme. #J-18808-Ljbffr
