Our work needs diverse, multi-disciplinary and multi-skilled teams. Incident Management and Resilience is one of the national teams within the EnvironmentAgency. **Your role with us**

We respond to many types of environmental and societal emergencies such as flooding and significant pollution. As incidents relating to climate change grow more frequent and severe, we need to maintain a reliable, resilient and effective incident responsecapability. We depend more than ever on our highly skilled workforce.

We are recruiting for multiple communication and engagement senior advisors, within our Preparedness & Recovery and Digital Services teams that form part of Incident Management and Resilience. You will plan and lead the important engagement or digital transformationwork that helps to shape our future incident response. If you are experienced at emergency planning, your focus could be on building capability, knowledge, talent and expertise within the profession; championing a culture of excellence.

Responding to incidents is a central part of what the Environment Agency does. Within your job role, you will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents, or provide business continuity support during an incident.This may attract an additional payment. Full training and flexible working arrangements will be available to support you.

**Who we’re looking for**

We are looking for people with experience of digital skills with system running, transformation and improvements, and those with incident management or response experience. With your abilities, you will enable stakeholders (both internal and external) andcommunities to feel empowered and take action for incident response. Our senior advisors need excellent leadership skills, and an ability to foster collaborative ways of working and common working practices to improve resilience in our Incident Managementservices.

Your proven ability to deliver effectively and at pace within a large and complex organisation will be matched by the skills to embed professional practices into organisational culture. You’re likely to have deep experience of leading and motivating a communityof highly capable and skilled professionals.
