Our specialist Events client require Crew Members to commence in the New Year.

You must be multi skilled, adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to handle new challenges. You must always be prepared to support all areas of the business. The logistic team is at the heart of product and service delivery across every area of the business. You must have skills that transfer across departments and business needs and take personal responsibility for learning to operate new equipment and techniques. At various times you will be required to work away from your base, and this may include overnight stays.

You must be over 25 and possess a full clean manual driving licence.

**The role of a logistics crew member includes**:

- Kit preparation.
- Loading & unloading vans.
- Driving to and from events.
- Building event sets (involving manual handling, working with ladders / at heights/ constructing temporary structures such as entrance truss).
- Dismantling event sets (involving manual handling, working with ladders / at heights).

**Key requirements include**:

- Full, clean, manual driving licence and comfortable driving XLWB vans.
- Good communication skills.
- High standard of appearance and work ethic.
- Have the ability to work to deadlines.
- Have the ability to work alternating working patterns.
- May include unsociable hours with early starts and late finishes.
- Overnight stays are sometimes required, expenses are provided.
- Be able to follow instructions on and off-site.
- Excellent time management.
- Have the ability to work as part of a team.
- Have an awareness of health and safety policies.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Physically fit as some lifting and ladder work involved.
- Over 25 (due to insurance requirements).

**Brief overview of duties**:

- Working under the instructions of the event supervisor / lead, you will be required to prepare, load and unload event kit into/out of vans using a comprehensive checklist, drive to and from appointments and represent the company on client sites.
- Good communication skills are a must with both the client, event supervisor/lead, colleagues, and support teams.
- Working Monday to Thursday (Friday work may be required, this will be decided each week), training will be provided prior to first set up and will continue on-site.
- You must be able to adhere to the high standards of appearance, behaviour, and set-up standards that the company expect.
- Event set-ups include carpets, lighting, window displays etc, returning to site at a later date for take-downs, returning to the warehouse, cleaning and storing away equipment.
- Experience of working with ladders and manual handling would be advantageous, along with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Training will be provided, along with uniform which will be signed out and back in once contract is complete.
- There is the potential for this role to become permanent, but this is largely dependent on performance and attitude.

- Project Coordinators.
- All customers within the territory.

- Keen eye for detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
- Ability to build sustainable relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously, but also within a team.
- Excellent organisation, and presentation skills.

Temporary contract

Working hours: Monday - Sunday (Minimum of 3 days per week)
